weekend plans

nothing tomorrow(yet) but friday will be very exciting. HARRY POTTER RELEASE PARTY. WOOHOO. I <3 Harry. I'm meeting up with friends and we're going to the Burnside Powell's. Meet me there! It'll be great. Then Saturday it looks like I'll be at Saturday Market, crowd canvassing or tabling(the Hillsboro Farmer's Market decided to deny NARAL's application and not tell them). Let me know if you wanna come. There are shifts available from 12-2 and 2-5. Other stuff:
-tabling at Clinton Street Fair on Saturday, July 23rd
-Supreme Court Strategy Session on Tuesday, July 26th at the Central Library in Downtown Portland
-Cocktails for Choice: Thursday, July 28th from 5:30-7:30 at Cassidy's
-Volunteer Recruitment Phone Banks for State Fair: August 1-4 and August 7-11

Oh, and there were some Basic Rights Oregon people using the phones tonight too and there's something I want to do. Next Wednesday the 20th at 6:00 pm in Salem is a rally to make Karen Minnis(speaker of the house) to put S.B. 1000 to a vote in the house, because BRO thinks we have a good chance of passing it. It would make civil unions. So if someone wants to help me with gas we can go down there and get some civil unions.
